The Denver Dog Park shall be open daily to the public according to the following schedule. Entry otherwise is considered trespassing:
November 1st through March 31st - 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
April 1st through October 31st - 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
The Denver Dog Park is an off-leash park where dogs can play, exercise, and socialize with other dogs. Registration is $20.00 per year for the first dog and $10.00 per year for each additional dog. You can register up to four (4) dogs. Memberships are purchased through the Denver Borough Municipal Building, 501 Main Street, Denver, PA 17517 – 717-336-2831, Ext. 1.
The Denver Dog Park includes separate areas for small dogs and large dogs. The small dog area measures 50 feet by 60 feet and the large dog area measures 60 feet by 100 feet. The facility has an electronic gate which will provide access to dog owners after purchasing an access key fob from the Borough.
The facility is enclosed with a six-foot (6’) high chain link fence with three (3) small gates for access. The main gate provides access into the facility and two (2) additional gates provide separate access into the small dog and big dog areas. The amenities at the site include a waste can, a dog waste bag station, benches, and a decorative fire hydrant.
