Water and sewer utility bills are prepared quarterly by the Borough of Denver, distributed either by mail or email to property owners, and shall be payable to the Borough on or before the 15th day of the month next succeeding the month in which the bills are delivered.
The Borough of Denver’s current water and sewer rates for all customers (residential, commercial, industrial, and public) are as follows:
Minimum Billing 3,000 gallons $22.95
All Additional 1,000 gallons $7.65 per 1,000 gallons
Minimum Billing 3,000 gallons $35.25
All Additional 1,000 gallons $11.75 per 1,000 gallons
One (1) time fee of $25.00 per system collected in the 4th Quarter.
Denver Borough water and sewer customers have the following options available to make water and sewer payments:
Paying in person at the Municipal Building;
Placing the payment in the drop box located to the right of the front door at the Municipal Building;
Mailing the payment through the U.S. Mail to Denver Borough, 501 Main Street, Denver, PA 17517; and,
Paying at the Ephrata National Bank – Denver Branch, 1 Main Street, Denver, PA 17517.
The Borough accepts Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards. A per transaction convenience fee of 2.65% or $3.00 minimum will be charged by the payment processing company for this service to anyone using a MasterCard, Discover Card, or Visa.
Credit card payments also can be processed in person at the Municipal Building; over the telephone by contacting the Municipal Building at 717-336-2831, Ext.1; or online at the Borough of Denver’s website (Online Payments link on the home page).
As a reminder, property owners interested in participating in the Borough’s Utility E-Bill Program can register for this service at no cost by submitting an email to the Borough at UtilityBilling@denverboro.net and including the following information: Property Owner Name, Address, and Email Address.
Upon receipt of the email requesting this service, the Borough will make the adjustment to your account. Please note, by registering for paperless billing the Borough will no longer mail you a paper copy of your quarterly utility bill.
