SAVE THE DATE... DISCOVER DENVER

The 2023 Discover Denver Event is scheduled for Saturday, October 14, 2023, beginning at 9:00 AM and will be held at the Denver Memorial Park and Playground at 801 Main Street.

Local businesses will be set up and the emergency services, including the Denver Fire Company and the East Cocalico Police Department, will have equipment parked at the Park.  There will be live music by Street Beans, Kel Lee of Kel Lee's Entertainment Company will be emceeing the event and of course there will be food trucks! 

Scarecrow judging will be going on from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The Annual Caroline Schannauer Pumpkin Painting Contest will begin at 9:30 AM with judging taking place at 10:30 AM. At 11:00 AM the 3rd Annual Discover Denver Chili Cook-Off Event will begin in the Kitchen Pavilion. Participants will be able to sample the flavors and cast their vote for the best chili in Denver! At 11:30 AM join the Cocalico Creek Watershed Association for it's first annual Rubber Duck Race!  Make sure to buy your ducks before the race! The Park activities will showcase the new improvements to the Park including a Doggie Halloween Parade at 12:30 PM, crafts and more.
